Dance Instructor

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Liz started dancing at age two. She studied with the Omaha Academy of Ballet under the direction of Dr. Valerie Roche, Creighton University (1997-2007). Liz successfully completed annual ballet examinations through the Royal Academy of Ballet. She was a member of a company of dancers by age 10 and performed in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and several modern dance concerts. In 2003, Liz joined the Omaha Dance Project under the direction of Sara Mau and Jonathan Fagan. In addition, Liz had the pleasure of training privately with Patrick Roddy, a profound tap instructor/performer. 

 

Liz earned a bachelor of fine arts in dance from East Carolina University, where she continued her studies of ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, tap, improvisation and composition. In 2010, Liz danced with famed choreographer Lane Alexander at the Chicago Rhythm Festival.
 

Liz currently teaches and mentors students ages 2-19 with Artistry in Motion and 7 Dance Centre, where she leads ballet and pointe. She is also one of the choreographers for 7 Dance Centre's company.
